As far as reading or foretelling the future, I have chosen the tarot cards as my tool of choice, for channeling energy and to offer guidance.

Nothing stops any of you to learn the tarot and to develop uncanny abilities.  My recommendation is to start by learning the meaning of the symbols. The Swiss psychologist, Carl Jung, saw all of the Tarot images as “descended from the archetypes of transformation*” and believed that its symbols were universal and common in all cultures.

But what it the tarot? Their origin is highly debated, but it is believed to have originated in Egypt. The traditional Tarot is a deck of 78 cards, which are divided into two main sections: a major arcana and a minor arcana. The major arcana is a set of 22 picture cards which are also called the greater arcana. These cards are pictorial representations of various universal experiences such as Death, Justice, Strength, and so on, and contain archetypal symbolism. Fifty-six cards of the minor arcana are divided into court and suit cards. The sixteen court cards are comprised of a King, a Queen, a Knight, and a Knave (or Page) for each of the four suits of the deck. The remaining forty cards are divided into the four suits called: Pentacles (also known as deniers, coins, or disks), Cups (coupes), Swords (epees), and Wands (batons or scepters). The suit cards are numbered from 1 (ace) to 10 for each of the four suits. The suit cards represent specific opportunities and lessons. Tarot cards have been used for fortune telling for ages and have remained popular ever since. They are seen as a means of getting in touch with the spiritual world. Tarot reading has been very popular with people who are looking for ways to solve their personal difficulty. It has always served as a guideline for people in trouble or even otherwise.

WHAT IS THE FOCUS OF THE DAY?

Three Cards Spread This spread is good for someone who wants know how his/her life will be in general. If a specific question has been asked, then the cards will be interpreted with respect to the question.

Card 1 – Past: This represents certain events in the past which have influenced the present condition. These events are responsible for the current events surrounding the asked question or current situation. Judgement You hard work reaps all the rewards. Do not be too harsh on yourself. Learn to be patient to be successful. Health will improve. There may be positive changes in life. This is a good time to make changes in your career. Important changes that alter your life may happen.

Card 2 – Present: This card represents the present state surrounding some current event or situation. This may also be the problems and obstacles that the person may have to face. The Sun You are enthusiastic and passionate about your work. Your hard work is ready to reap good results. Be open to criticism. You are happy and satisfied with your accomplishment. You may receive lot of rewards and acclaims.

Card 3 – Future: This card represents the future outcome of the present circumstances or events that may lead to the outcome. The Hierophant You may be more worried about your social status and unsure if you are ready to sacrifice it at the cost of what you think is right. You seek wisdom and pure knowledge. Marriage and partnerships are seen.
